Repair Blackwidow X Chroma | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hey there,

Iv searched online and cannot find out how to remove the front plate from the circuit board?

My son has spilled milk directly under the keys. Removing the top plate is a must to clean out and see if it can be salvaged.

Keyboard: BlackWidow X Chroma

Any help would be appreciate! Thanks.

THanks for the reply!

I did see that video earlier, however he does not remove the front plastic from the circuit board, just the back!

Oh, that part is stick with the front side. Once you open the back, u have to manually solder all the switches then use a hair dryer to soften the glue that sticks between the main board and the front plastic. It is a hassle process tho. if you dont know what you are doing it might damage the keyboard. The best thing you can do is to wash it. and let it dry for 7 days
I bought used blackwidow x chroma keyboard recently and was wondering where i could buy replacement parts because its missing the spacebar, spacebar omegle stabilizer and right shift. Thanks 🙂 Model no: RZ203-0176
