Tiny rough bumps on blackwidow v2 cushion pad

Anyone know why numerous weird tiny rough bumps begin to appear on the cushion. Its mostly in the area where my palms/wrist rests so i thought it might be because of sweat but then why wouldn't they make it sweat resistant or smthn. It's hard to see it clearly in the picture but it feels rough and the bumps are quite big

    I had it too on my Blackwidow, but only on the part where my left hand was (over WASD keys). Rest of the wrist rest has no such things, so I agree with you that it could be because of sweat.

    dem yea me too, its concentrated on the left part and its becoming worst is everyone's pad like this as well??

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yeah this happens to fau leatherette material when it is exposed to moisture. So if your arm sweats your wrist rest will get this bubbling. If your ears sweat a lot you will end up with flakes of leather peeling off from the ear cups. This isnt a problem with just Razer stuff but any fake leather/ protein leather will flake and bubbe in the presence of water. You can try some leather repair kits available on Amazon but I havent had any luck trying to fix my earpads using them so you are better of buying a new wrist rest since the leather repair kits cost just as much as the wrist rest itself.

    Ah, fascinating!! I guess this also helps explain why this is never an issue I encounter. Due to the other chronic illnesses I have one of my problems is that I don't sweat. (also means I have no way to control my body temperature if I'm in cold climates or the weather is too hot) I guess this is one benefit though, I won't be ruining any of my Razer gear to due moisture damage. lol
