What is Snap Tap Mode and how do I get this functionality?

  • Huntsman V3 Pro
  • Huntsman V3 Pro Mini
  • Huntsman V3 Pro TKL

To get this functionality ensure that your Razer Synapse 3 is updated to the latest version after 9 July 2024 (Version: 3.9.0630.062714) and your keyboard is updated to the latest firmware.

To enable Snap Tap, you can either toggle it in Synapse or press “FN” + “L SHIFT”.

 


Snap Tap Mode is a cool feature on select Razer keyboards, allowing you to prioritize the most recent input between two selected keys without needing to release the first key. This can be really useful for gaming or other rapid input scenarios. To enable Snap Tap, ensure that your Razer Synapse 3 software is updated to the latest version (after 9 July 2024) and that your keyboard firmware is up to date. You can activate Snap Tap either through the Synapse software or by pressing "FN" + "L SHIFT" directly on your keyboard. This feature is supported on the Huntsman V3 Pro, Huntsman V3 Pro Mini, and Huntsman V3 Pro TKL keyboards.

As of now, there hasn't been any official announcement regarding the rollout of Snap Tap Mode to other Razer keyboards like the Deathstalker V2 Pro. It's best to keep an eye on Razer's updates and product announcements for any news on future features status.
