Atheris tracking problems

So I have some trouble with the Atheris tracking... It goes bat bonkers crazy at random, 7-10 times every 5 minutes for 10-20 seconds at a time... I have nothing to interfere with the mouse besides the home network and that is almost 100% used on the 5GHZ with the 2.4 just there... And no, the microwave is NOT on. This is proving a VERY big problem with most games I play, even just surfing the internet when the mouse tweaks out and clicks something random or closes your window... Any suggestions much appreciated

Sensor and your mousepad is clean? Also try new set of batteries.

Keep the dongle right next to your mousepad. I had a similar issue when my Atheris was plugged in the back of my PC. Even a thin wooden desk is enough to make the Atheris lose signal. Use a USB extender if possible.

@DRIFT_IT OMG thank you, that worked! 3 hours and no jerking around like crazy! Heck, No jerking around at all! FiszPL, sorry, I left that out of my post! I did try changing the batteries multiple times, using rechargeable and even tried the alkaline non rechargeables. Mousepad is always kept clean, I know how a hair messes with the laser lolol. Thank you for the suggestions So the mouse is "wireless" but requires the receiver to be against the Mouse... What were you thinking Razer?

Glad it helped. I own a $150 Logitech mouse too and that has interference issues and needs the dongle right next to the mousepad for perfect tracking. I have a router on my desk so I know where my issue comes from. And to be honest the Atheris wireless isnt the best in the market but all wireless mice only work perfectly in a perfect environment and they test them in isolation so real world is always a hit or miss. So for gaming mice I always go back to wired since wireless will always have an issue even if the issue only occurs once in a year.

It really depends on the environment. My Atheris has no problem with wireless dongle connected to back of my PC under desk. On the other side I saw an Logitech wireless set (keyboard + mouse), that is unable to function properly 5 meters away from dongle, which have full visibility (no obstacles etc).

Well it does depend on a device/ environment basis but I have always had issues with wireless peripherals. I have a pretty noisy desk with 2 routers running and also some electrical equipment I like to tinker with. The Atheris wireless has less range than my Logitech GPW but that is a 150 dollar mouse vs a 50 dollar mouse so I dont expect much from it. Though the small size of the Atheris is perfect for a travel mouse so I love to use it on my laptop. Im curious what games you play with your Atheris, I have noticed a decent delay in tracking when compared to my GPW in CS GO and other fast paced shooters. Im guessing for Dota or similar games its less of an issue since tracking doesnt matter as much.

Atheris is my daily driver at work (I also use it with my laptop). I've played CS:GO a lot, but with 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth connection is low responsive, no problems with tracking, but I almost always use it with Goliathus Control pad.
