Basilisk Ultimate Charging Dock don’t charge the mouse

For recharging the mouse, it is important the hardware electrical connectivity is stable

• If you are using your mouse on a multi USB hub, remove it and connect it to its own USB port
• Try connect it to a different USB port.
• Alternative is to connect the USB cable directly to the mouse, not to the charging dock
• It could be a cable fault also, do you have an alternative cable? otherwise you can purchase one from RAZERcare store

Hello, Thank you for the fast answer, my mouse does charge when connected to the cable, my question is what is going on with the dock, the mouse needs to be in a perfect position to charge in the dock otherwise the dock is only a stand. The dock only charge the mouse when I put the AirPods under the mouse.

The two metal conductor on the mouse dock must be in good contact with the mouse. Two conductors are spring based, maybe give them gentle presses to position them correctly~~~

Hey there, can you use a qtip or ear buds and clean the pins on the mouse as well as the dock for few seconds in circular motion and try once? Also can you confirm to what port the dock is plugged in to? Because the port should provide enough power to charge the mouse. For example, you have a usb hub with multiple ports which has different peripherals connected already might be an issue of insufficient juice to the Razer dock. You can connect the usb port of the dock directly to a usb port on the laptop or pc which you are using. If possible please post a video of the issue as well.

This happens to me as well. I literally have to play around with it on the dock by lifting it off the dock and re-seating it on the dock as well as jiggling it around on the dock to get it to start charging. To know that it starts charging is when you see the LEDs flash red quickly, it is then that you quickly do not touch it, one touch or jiggle will cause it to fail, and you will have to start all over again. BTW, make sure that you turn off the mouse from the switch on the bottom or it will not charge all the way. FYI, this issue is not rare with Razer products. My previous mouse (Ouroboros) also came with a dock and did the same thing, and I bought that one 6 years ago. I am in the process of getting my Basilisk Ultimate replaced. Now, it may be a firmware issue because I noticed that when I place it on the dock while looking at the status in Synapse 3.0, I notice that it has a difficult time engaging the charging feature. You have to get it to charge through the dock if you want it to charge to 100%. Cleaning the Pins doesn't help. Also, firmware is fully update which didn't help.

I have this same problem. I have several razer chroma products (Huntsman Elite, Basilisk Ultimate, Firefly mat, and wireless charger) and ideally would like to use them on my primary gaming desktop as well as my laptop (when docked). A Razer KVM and/or powered USB hub designed to meet the power requirements of all these peripherals would be a nice addition to the product portfolio... just saying.
