Basilisk Ultimate: How to see if it's 1st gen or 2nd gen ?
is there any trick to check the S/N on the box so I would be sure it has the 2nd gen optical switches before purchasing? i can't really spend that much money just to get the old switches

+1If you'll look at the serial number - first 4 digits = prod date.
Everything after 40th week 2020 (PM2040xxxxx) should have 2nd gen optical switches.
