I have been using the Basilisk Ultimate for more than three years and I admit that it is a very good mouse and I love using it, but since 2023 I have this problem when using it: the mouse will suddenly disconnect and after 1-2 minutes it will reconnect to my computer, or it will not connect( This is manifested by the chroma light effect on the mouse suddenly going out, and the mouse cannot control the computer's cursor ), I need to turn the mouse back on or off or reseat the 2.4G receiver, and sometimes I can see the mouse displayed in the driver in synapse, but I can't control the mouse through synapse (at this time, synapse shows that the mouse battery is 0%). This happens almost every day, I've played a lot of games, I'm sure it's not a problem caused by the game program, and even the link breaks in daily use, I'm sure it has something to do with the latest driver of the mouse or synapse3, I hope to fix this problem sooner

If you’re sure, that it’s caused by Synapse, then remove it for a day or two, and test it without software. For driver removal use this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj and reboot your PC after that.

When it happens - Synapse show, that battery level is 0% all the time? If yes, then it might be an issue with battery.

I don’t think It’s the battery because I used my mouse for a month and It shows It’s battery is 0% on Synapse but I could use it for 3 more days, my app doesn’t even work normal I can’t turn on the light effects on my Razer Basilisk V3 Pro.
It has to be something with the app.

I am quite happy to see that this problem is apparently not an isolated case. I think I have the identical problem. For me, however, the problem only appeared with the last or penultimate update of Synapse 3.

I am using the Basilisk Pro V3 with the Mouse Dock Pro. Razer Studio is also used.

I have now been able to identify when or what causes the mouse to stop working for me.

Seems like there is a correlation here with some use of the mouse wheel. I have the scroll mode set to "tactile" and Smart-Reel "enabled". When I scroll the mouse wheel up or down really fast, my mouse stops. It is not enough for me to turn the mouse off and on again on the bottom. I always have to short connect my mouse via a cable. In my case, I short the cable from the Mouse Dock Pro and connect it to the mouse.

A temporary solution may be to disable Smart-Reel.

Ok, the above solution had actually worked well for a while, but now the mouse just doesn't work in other situations. So far I can't understand the reasons and don't want to, only to eventually find a temporary solution (compromises). I just wish for a suitable update that solves the problem. Right now I can't get the mouse to run without connecting it via the cable.
Ok, after probably 10 tries it did work again, but the question is why. Why does it suddenly work after tens of attempts and not before?

What I personally know is that I won't be buying any more mice from Razer. This cloud based system is just unreliable and kind of questionable too. When I bought my mouse, I was looking for information about the mouse (hardware), but how the software behind it works was not clear to me. I trusted that Razer is quite popular and has been in business for a long time, that such problems shouldn't matter that much.

never ever  buy razer again at alll
