Gonna cut to the chase

I'm get angry and that results in some love taps. Over the months my scroll wheel has had an issue where the scroll wheel was acting on its own in shooter games.

Today, I finally took it apart to find that the tensioner popped off the wheel. Went to put it back together and now I have a small spring that feel out of the buttons but no clear place to put it.

All I need is a picture, diagram,  or clear as day explanation of where it goes.
