Basilisk V2 the Thumb Rubber.

I have a strange question, but am i the only one where the rubber is slightly peeling of? i have a Basilisk V2 and somehow i only see razer mice with rubber on it where released this days. is there a good New mouce with no peeling Rubber? ^^

      The rubber where I place my thumb is kinda ‘dissolving’ rather than peeling off.

      Not sure what is causing it. I tend to keep my equipment clean without using any special chemicals so that should not be it.

      I hope the rubber  doesn’t break down from sweaty hands when using the mouse for long hours each day.

       

      If I had to guess that rubber part can’t be replaced...right?
