Basilisk X Hyperspeed Firmware Updater issue (stuck on 0%)

I’m having the same exact issue with my Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed Mouse. It won’t pass zero percent on update v1.01.09_r1. If Razer could fix this that’d be amazing!

Have you tried version 1.02.00 ?

anyone have a fix on this?  I’ve tried v1.02.00 and it only shows “Updating...0%’.

Mine is not working too. Update is always at 0% and mouse is glitching all the time.

I have the same problem.

My basilisk was freezing while using synapse, if I kill the process then it works smoothly on win 11. So I asked razer, they suggested to upgrade the firmware, but it is stuck to 0%. Seems a well known problem for a very old product...I'm surprised it hasn't solved yet!

I would like to also confirm I can not get it to download.

As I see - Razer ignores it.

The mouse is practically unusable in gaming as it disconnects at random moments.

Guess I’m just blacklisting the vendor for myself.

just tried updating the firmware for mine and its been doing this no matter what i do.

also why the hell doesn't synapse also update firmware for the products..

Funny how still theres no fix , mouse keeps glitching n reconnecting , update doesnt work, and none gives a damn , razer made by “gamers” for your money nothing else.

Getting same issue. I hope they found a fix soon!

Now EIGHT MONTHS after this post was started my NEW mouse is glitching and disconnecting. The firmware updater is absolutely useless . Will not connect or see my mouse regardless of whether I use dongle or BT. I just returned the first one I bought and now the new one is doing the same thing fresh out of the box.

Clearly no fix on the horizon. Too bad!!!  I LOOOOOVE the basilisk v3 it isliterally the perfect mouse. It makes me sad I will have to return this and go with a different brand  :( 

Firmware updater is useless still… real bummer, this mouse has been wonderful for the past year but now it only lasts connected for maybe an hour, constantly says the battery is low, then it will disconnect and not connect again unless I give it a break for the day.

Firmware updater stays at 0% and I don’t know what else to do. Opened up the mouse and everything seems intact so no issues there. Really disappointed, have to go back to using my Mazer mouse of 10+ years for now
