I’m very sad because i bought a Razer Viper Ultimate and i’ve been using it for a while now and i’m loving it, even tho it doesn’t have much Rgb it has a very clean look to it and it is very good to handle but it has one very big problem, it doesn’t register high cps (clicks per second). I’m a Minecraft PvP player and cps to me is one of the most important things since it is the base of PvP and Multiplayer Minigames. I’m really concerned about it but i had to sell it to buy another mouse, so please Razer, can you make a good mouse for all of the minecraft players out there, with a low debounce time and high cps registration? thx ❤️ (sorry if i’m bad at writing but i’m from italy so english isn’t easy for me, hope you’ll forgive me :))

RAZER produce great category of mouses for both office work and gaming.
Before I knew about RAZER, I thought HP desktop peripherals was the best.
I played competitive games using HP desktop peripherals.
Until I discovered gaming peripherals, RAZER.
It took me a while to get use to the keyboard layout and the mouse grip, but once I did, boy it made me re-think about the HP desktop peripherals
For example, when you buy a new shoe; you will feel uncomfortable at first, because your feet is not use to the layer. But in given time, your feet will adjust to the layer or the layer will reshape to your feet vice versa.

I do not know what you were using before Viper Ultimate, but when buying something which you are unfamiliar with, there are bound to be areas which you need to adjust.
This is what I had to adjust, moving from HP desktop peripherals to RAZER gaming peripherals
- Grip of the mouse
- Index finger and middle finger senses

Ye i know they make very good peripherals and i’ve used a razer mamba for over an year and it was great, i’m just saying that there are other companies like Glorious (idk if i should say the name or no) that make mices that count 10 times more clicks than the viper, and it is not about being used to it but it is about the sensors that register the click, razer implemented a software limiter for high cps because sometimes mices can “double click” and in a lot of games that’s an issue but in minecraft it is the exact opposite, double clicking is the best of the best and razer put a limiter to block it... so yea maybe old models like the death adder don’t have that “issue” but new ones do, and i think they should implement something in their synapses to able or disable that limiter

try to “drag click” on your razer mice and tell me how many cps that counts and then try to do the same thing on an old office mice
Ah so it is the "double click" feature you are disappointed with~~~
Of course gaming mouse will deliver faster clicks than regular desktop mouse
I have been using RAZER brand mouse for quite a while. Currently on Basilisk ULT
I thought you were having a difficulty of getting high cps due to the physical layout of the mouse that your hand was not adjusted to.
There are some active threads where the double click feature does not come in Viper ULT.
As per this thread

If people do not mind losing the warranty, they can install new mouse microswitch that deliver the double click feature.
But you will need some hands on experience and soldiering skills to properly achieve this, or take the mouse to a RAZER electronics specialist.
But it looks like you already got a new mouse~~~

yes there is a way to get the double clicks but it is really time consuming and the risk of breaking the mouse is high but i think razer would be happy to add some feature to the mouse that lets you activate or disactivate the double clicking feature
Send a message to RAZER officials,
they might listen, for their next Viper release~~

Why not to make a macro for it?
Like this below:
Then you just assign it to any button you want with this setting:
So when you'll hold the key the macro will be active. If you stop pressing the button macro stops functioning.
I get about ~55 CPS with this settings.

ye i did that like 1 year ago and i got banned for 100 days lmao cuz using macros is considered cheating while if it is a mouse mechanical thing like double clicking it’s not :’)

So make bigger delays between clicks

no but it is always bannable even if you just get 10cps with it, their bots can record any type of macros and ban you from the server
