So this one has a paddle. On the original Basilisk, it was called a clutch, right? Is it the same thing, or is there different functionality? I couldn't really tell from the video.

Same thing, different name, but in Basilisk Essential it's only in one size.

One thing that I found for Basilisk Essential:
Is the Rubber Thumb Cap on the Razer Basilisk Essential removable?

Looks like it's really cheap to manufacture and attracts a lot of customers so it's a reasonable investment!

The Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition is probably your best bet if you need those yellow switches 😬
