Cyberpunk 2077 edition Viper

Dear Razer community, I may soon be purchasing a new mouse, and one of the mice I am considering is the Viper Ultimate (Cyberpunk edition) During my research, I've read about the difference in the optical switches. I just wish to ask if the Cyberpunk mouse would be the most up-to-date model of the Viper Ultimate? or perhaps would it be better to purchase the regular version through Amazon, as the listing clearly states 2nd generation switches. Thank you for your help.

You can always buy it and return, if you're not happy with Cyberpunk edition. On every box there is sticker with serial number, so you don't even have to open the box to see what is the production date. As far as I know, 2nd gen switches were released about 37th week of 2020, so serial number will start PM2037xxxxxx for example. Anything newer, than this will have 100% 2nd gen switches.
