Death Adder Mini V2 turn lights off

Hello everybody, i'm looking after buying a new mouse and i've been looking after the Death Adder Mini v2.

Question is, can i turn lights off without keeping Synapse open? I'm okay with installing Synapse to tune the options, but then i cannot keep it always open because most of the time i work on a Linux system.

I'm not looking after any particular light effect, just turning them off permanently.

I know i can open it and kill the LEDs physically, but i wouldn't like to invalidate the warranty... :)
