I’ve had the deathadder for a couple years now and suddenly the battery has been dying within a few days of putting a fresh one in, I lowered the polling rates and reinstalled drivers, but I’m still having this issue.  I’ve tried lots of different batteries and it’s still happening.

Hi retroPaleBlueboard180,

I understand you're having trouble with the battery life of your Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed. Please try the steps below to isolate the problem,
1. Make sure the battery contacts in the mouse are clean and making a good connection. Please follow the instruction here.
2. Since you've already tried different batteries, make sure they are high-quality, fresh batteries.
3. If possible, try resetting the mouse to its factory settings.
4. Wireless devices can sometimes experience interference from other devices. Make sure there is not too much interference around your setup.
5. High temperatures or extreme cold can affect battery performance. Ensure the mouse is used in a stable environment.
6. Ensure your mouse software and firmware are up-to-date.

I hope this helps. Feel free to PM with your device serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. All the best!
