Is the side buttons Mouse 4 & 5 suppose to have their positions switched? All the different types of gaming mouses with side buttons I've used always have Mouse 4 as the one pointing forward and Mouse 5 pointing backwards but on the DeathAdder, their positions switched

Mouse 5 is forward (upper side key), Mouse 4 is backwards (lower side key). It's the same as in other brand mouses.
If you're used to reverse setting - why not to change it via Synapse software?

Oh really? Ig I never noticed it before, but I always assumed Mouse 4 is forward and Mouse 5 is backwards, it was just weird that this brand new DeathAdder X has them backwards

Not possible, because all Razer mouses have MB5 (upper side button), MB4 (lower side button).
