Hi,
I thought the great benefit of optical switches is that they aren't prone to ghost double clicks, at least that's what everyone is saying. With ghost clicks I mean, you press the button once but it registers twice.
I have a Razer Viper 8K here, only 6 months old and the middle mouse button literally double clicks when I press it once. To make sure this isn't related to my computer I tried the mouse in another computer, even with a different OS, and the exact same issue occurred.
How is this even possible? Especially with optical switches. I always handle my equipment with care so no throwing, liquid or any other crazy stuff.

I've got a private message on Reddit where I also made this thread from user 'RazerCustAdvocacy' which is supposedly a Razer employee. If this is indeed true than naturally the message is appreciated but can anyone confirm if this is a real Razer employee? He/she asks me to send to send the receipt and some other stuff.

Yup, real Razer Employee.
There are few on reddit ;)
Middle button has normal "mechanical" switch - it's not optical.
Optical switches are only for main buttons left & right click.
So yes - you can get double click if it's failed.
