First plastic adhesive mouse pad so what do I do when I need to move it

I was given a Razer Sphex V3 recently, and it's my first plastic adhesive mouse pad. I've not used adhesive pads before. I like how it's firmly affixed, but my question is, what do I do when I decide to move it? (because I decide to sit differently or just change desks) It seems like the adhesive properties will be quickly lost and the bottom will gather dust and particles very quickly if I take it off, similarly to protective glass for smartphones. I'd like to hear about the others' experiences with these things.

I think you'll still be able to use it in different place, but the adhesive may be not as good as previously. Before applying I'd clean the bottom part (adhesive) with water - I'm making the same thing with protective glass for smarphones (when improperly installed or there's some dirt under it).

I used to have a V2 and when you take it off it would still be sticky but dust, hair and other stuff would get stuck to it and it would kind of ruin it. I've never cleaned mine but from what I've seen online is that it can be cleaned as it does not use any glue for adhesion.
