How to restore mouse button 3 on basilisk mobile?

Hi,

This is my very first time purchasing and using a Razer product. I was trying to replace my old mouse, (4.46 in x 2.62 in x 1.4 in, 62g). I bought a basilisk as it was the smallest mouse on display at the local computer store, but found it was still too large for my hand. I use a fingertip grip mousing style, and my hands are 3” wide and 6.5” long.

I’ve found the only mouse that Razer makes that works for my hands in the Basilisk mobile. I went to the computer store and exchanged the mouse I had bought for the mobile version.

Anyways, the big Basilisk mouse supported three side mouse buttons, but the little one only supports two and this really annoying AI prompt thing that I can only remap to one of the other buttons on the mouse. I discovered this while streaming and now my friends won’t stop making fun of me for it.

Anyways, how do I disable the AI MASTER button and get Mouse Button 3 back? I would like more than four buttons on my $90 gaming mouse.

Thank you,

Starless

(Also the sides of the mouse are too tilted to pick up by the edges, and I wish you would fix this part of the design.)

If you are talking about the AI Prompt Master button, you have to restore that via Synapse 4 and choose “Default” as the option, do keep in mind that it is also programmable to other actions as well as such as I use it as a Play/Pause button for Multimedia/Music as I dont use AI stuff for now

Now however if you are talking about the button in the middle near the scroll wheel, this is not reprogrammable and it tells you this in Synapse 4 as its the toggle switch for the scroll wheel type (hyper scroll and tactile scroll)

There is no default option available. I can only use it as an AI button or as a mirror of other buttons.

Do you own this mouse? It's an issue specifically with the mobile version, the full size allows the button to work normally.

If it is working for you on specifically the mobile version, what driver/firmware version are you on?

Yes I own a Basilisk Mobile and its default mode is AI Prompt Master, but you can assign different things to it instead. There might be a special way you can factory reset the mouse as well but I am unsure.

Can you share the version of software/driver you're using?

There is no way to tell what firmware is loaded onto the Basilisk Mobile at this time as there is no firmware updater out to do so. Synapse is the latest version 4 of the program but sometimes if you restart Synapse software it will update automatically to a new version.
