Improving HyperPolling Dongle with Typ-C-To-C-Cable?

Hello There! since my last thread regarding which USB Hub would be the best for my HyperPolling Dongle I also have had a nice conversation with a Guy from MSI. He also claimed that putting the Dongle into the USB Gen 3.2 which access directly into the AMD CPU would the best choices, since the USB Hub provided for peripherals such as mouse and keyboard does not support 4k Pollingrate. He said: Generally it would be best to plug it whether into the Typ A 3.2 GEN USB Hub with 10Gb/s Data-Rate or directly into the Typ C USB Hub. Since the Dongle uses a Typ-C-To-A Cable I was now wondering if it would increase it‘s performance if I‘m going to buy a Typ-C-To-Typ-C Cable and plug the Dongle right into the USB GEN 3.2 Typ C Hub of my Mainboard - since Typ C should be way more consistent in it‘s Data Transfer than Typ A. Any recommendations about buying a Typ C to Typ C Cable for the Dongle? I would then, plug it into the Typ C Hub as shown on the Photo:

I'd say any good quality USB-C <-> USB-C cable will work flawlessly. Check Baseus, Anker etc. Btw. you have free USB A-type SS 10Gb port - why not to use this one with provided USB-C to USB-A cable?

That's what I'm currently doing! But I like to play around with my setup in order to make the best out of it. Beside that I currently good issues that Synapse is a bit buggy with the polling rate setup. Whenever I open Synapse, eventhough when it was already started but only minimalized, the settings change. Sometimes it only offers me 1k polling rate, sometimes only 2k and sometimes 4k. But no matter what polling rate I got offered, as soon as I click on one polling rate it discards the setting for some reason after I'm leaving the configuration tab of my mouse. It's very strange.

With Synapse - you can submit a bug by clicking on your profile icon (top right side), then click on Feedback button.

I already got a support case open. So, would you recommand trying a Thunderbolt 4 Cable (Typ C to Typ C) for plugging it into the USB C Port of my Mainboard?

Nope, waste of USB-C port :) Use your USB-A instead.

Well, I don‘t use the usb c Port anyway tho. But just in general, a thunderbolt 4 cable or a standard usb c to c cable wouldn‘t harm the device, correct?
