Hi! I’m new to the forums, and I registered just to gather some information. I have a regular Razer Viper that I own for over years now, and it has these sudden disconnect/reconnects. I love playing FPS - and the Viper’s venom has costed me several crucial rounds that result to a loss. Right now, I’m using a different mouse, though I really love the Viper’s profile and would prefer to use it. The Mini is too small for my fairly long fingers.

Since RMA and service warranty is out of the room, I’ll just do things myself. So, I’m just asking if any of you guys know the specific JST connector size of the Viper? I tried to look in Google. While I did see Viper MINI and a Viper 8k being mentioned, there was no mention of a regular viper in terms of their JS connectors. Physically, I have opened it, and upon inspection, I really don’t know what I’m looking at specifically. Additionally, these connectors aren’t really available locally in my area (I’m from the Philippines), and shipping would take around 1 to 2 weeks, so I’d rather want to make sure first before ordering.

Here are the things that I did that did not solve the issue:

  1. Updated firmware
  2. Reinstalled Razer software
  3. Reset to default
  4. Used the mouse to two other PCs and two laptops (I carry it with me everywhere, lol)
  5. Cleaned the mouse
  6. Reset my PC (though I doubted this anyway

Well, I believe that is all. I’m skimming through the net right now, and will provide an update. Thank you in advance!

Not 100% sure about this, but it may have JST 2.0 connector. But if you’ve already opened the mouse you can measure the pitch and confirm (or not) if it’s 2mm or less: https://ldzy.tw/measure-jst-connector-pitch-complete-guide/
