Macros with onboard memory Naga V2 Pro

Apologies, as I’m a novice on the matter, but I’ve read different and sometimes conflicting responses online via search, so I’m hoping for an education from those in the know.

I am considering purchasing the Naga Pro; however, the decision is heavily influenced by the ability to perform certain desired tasks based on the onboard memory, as I cannot run Synapse on my work computer.

For example, in one program, I need to hit “alt” then “f” then “i” in succession to refresh the record. I presume this would require creating a macro in Synapse? If so, can it be saved to the onboard memory and used when I switch over to my work computer? I’ve read simple macros are possible with the Naga Pro, but am honestly confused by the rabbit hole I’ve gone down. I’m not looking to do anything more complicated than the above.

If I CAN do the above with the Naga Pro, I presume I CANNOT do it with the single profile Naga V2 Hyperspeed from what I’ve read. Is that correct? Since I am mainly looking to utilize for work productivity and not gaming, it would be nice to go with the cheaper option if it was able to perform the desired tasks.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
