No left handed ambidextrous mice anymore

Why has Razer removed any ability to have ambidextrous mice for left handed people? I can understand why they don’t build specific left handed editions if the sales aren’t there. but if you are going to make something ambidextrous like the cobra or the viper. is it so hard to add an extra 2 button on the right side of the mouse?

I have every product of Razer and the fact that they are excluding left handed people and now i need to go get an LG or Corsair is pissing me off.

I wanted thing to match and keep it in the family. in the past, the support by razer has been fantastic - this is making me want to sell all of my products and go away from Razer.

I have their leviathan v2, kiyo v2 pro, Seiren V2 pro, Huntsman V2, and my mouse, lancehead te which is dying.

they have a wireless naga mouse for right hand people with 3 different places - which would be perfect for me with a left hand, but of course they only give me an old version.

If they don’t start at least catering to left handed people - i will be replacing everything over to another company. I really am not happy with the lack of innovation this company has done.

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Still it’s possible to buy new skatez and for middle mouse click problem - only switch replacement will help here (which is fairly cheap but requires soldering).

Last fully ambidextrous mouse was Viper 8kHz and Viper Ultimate, the rest are faux ambidextrous.

I ended up buying the Logitech G903 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse. My razer Keyboard is going next.

i'm slowing phasing out Razer.

The last to go will be my sound bar, but everything will be going. The lack of innovation from them has been really pissing me off. It saddens me as their customer service has always been on point for me in the past.

Good luck to Razer, hope you change your thinking and business model.

Insane how they do not have anything at all other than the one MMO mouse. They used to at least do a couple like the Viper mentioned above which I have and went to update it as it is on its last leg and found literally nothing to replace it with. Nothing! how hard is it to at least put a couple of the mid buttons on both sides of the mouse for one or two of their product lines! Guess it is off to logitech based on the above. Sad.

.

I’ve also had mostly Razer stuff for everything past 10 years, but phasing out now because of this. 10% of people are left-handed, of which maybe half or less actually use mouse with left. That should be enough market to justify adding two buttons to the other side of a mouse, which is already otherwise ambidextrous! That should cost next to nothing compared to the total costs of the mouse. I’m even fine, if the left-handed models would cost bit extra, but ignoring the need totally - no.

It’s also hilarious how some companies label their mouses as ambidextrous even when they don’t have buttons both sides. Tells something about understanding your focus group.

Luckily there seems to be some other brands still making proper ambidextrous mouses.
