Please help me choose

Hi, I just want to ask a 3rd person perspective on whitch mouse to buy for a student with a almost bad laptop that wants to switch to pc. I want it to be wireless and have some extra buttons so I am thinking of buying the basilisk X v3 hyperspeed but it is very contested for me with the viper mini because even though it is wired I don't really mind it since it weights 20-30 grams less and is cheaper. Maybe I'm dumb and there are other mutch better options that I just didn't see so I hope for your help.

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Viper Mini is no longer produced. There is a “replacement” → Razer Cobra: https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-cobra

It really depends on the mouse usage, you’re comparing 2 different mouses. For work, MMO games etc I’d choose Basilisk - because it’s more comfortable, have more buttons and it’s wireless.

Razer Cobra is smaller & lighter mouse, good for FPS games for eg. But it lacks wireless (unless you go with Cobra Pro).

Thanks a lot, I will go with the basilisk since I want a more every day type of mouse and I don't like small mice. Also, I currently own a 160 gram cheap mouse and it seems light to me so shaving 100 grams I think will be uncomfortable for me and it still will be lighter with the basilisk. Also I won't do really competitive fps gaming so I wouldn't really take advantage of the incredibly light weight. Thanks.

Viper v2 pro , or deathadder v3 pro
