I’ve been buying razer products for decades. My venerable Deathadder V2 recently started dying so I started looking for a replacement. To my dismay, the only mouse razer sells in this exact shape is the essential, which I promptly bought and like but it’s not as good as my V2. I also bough the faker edition Deathadder v3, because even though it looks off, it’s still a Deathadder right? WRONG the shape is all wrong. This is a Deathadder in name only, it slips and cramps my hand.
PLEASE make a high end Deathadder with the classic v2/essential shape. I’m currently using the $20 essential over the $200 deathadder v3 faker because of the shape alone.
There are a lot of things I like about the V3, the buttons are much higher quality and a better “click” feel, more DPI , option for wireless etc, but the shape is a disgrace to the Deathadder name. You have plenty of safe shaped mice like the viper, please revert the Deathadder to it’s proper shape or make a retro edition with the good shape and modern tech.
