hi, currently i have issue with razer pro click mini, the side scroll / tilt button will be triggered when the mouse is moved. im sure this is some kind of bug

how to replicate the issue

  1. set the left / right scroll to repeated scroll up and repeated scroll down (or any function that require synapse)
  2. try the left/right scroll new function with excel
  3. then close the synapse (exit & kill the program)
  4. try the left/right scroll again, and try move the cursor
  5. there will be repeated left / right scroll every time you move the cursor

tried with bluetooth and dongle. both have same problem. with 2 pc. 1 with synape 1 without synapse installed

tried with razer naga trinity, when exit the synapse naga will disable the button instead of return to default button function

Similar issue after latest firmware update.

Actually im using onboard memory, without synapse after configuring mouse.

Wheel tilt is default “repeated tilt left/right” that don’t require synapse.

Basically when using middle/scroll click and accidentally tilting it, it triggers some sort of “zoom/scroll while mouse move” option that can be only turned off by turning off the mouse.

Another unfortunate Pro Click Mini user here. Can confirm the bug. Actually, I checked it with RawInputViewer. When you scroll the wheel, it will read an input of +/- 120 AS LONG AS the mouse wheel is moving. However if you press a side of a wheel, it will ADD (or subtract) the value of 120 horizontal scroll to every subsequent action. You can check this by pressing right tilt, the bug will be present, then left tilt and it will be gone. Very disappointing to see such a glaring issue from a well-established brand.

Wanted to reply to say that I have been having this issue as well...

Me too… is this actually the place to report a bug like this, and is there a timeline available for a fix? If not, I’ll be forced to return the mouse as this is not a working situation for me 😔

Temporary fix: Binding ‘Scroll left’ and ‘scroll right’ in Razer Synapse, while adding turbo with 10 presses/sec prevents this issue. The delay on first turbo-action is omitted though, and Synapse is required to be installed for this setup.
