Question for Razer staff or any other users

I think it doesn't matter if it's pressed for a long time. The little metal plate (spring) inside the mouse switch will wear over time causing double-clicking or abort the click when holding it. It will happen sooner or later. You can also ressurect your Mamba TE Chroma - you'll just need to buy mouse switch, and resolder the old one. Fairly cheap and easy to do.

Hi, my Razer Mamba TE Chroma decided that my left click should stop working. It has lasted me heavily for 4 years of intense programming and gaming. Now I bought a Mamba Elite, but my PTSD from my last mouse makes me wonder and I have to ask a question: Do holding left click (in Dead By Daylight, because you have to do some interactions that needs left click to be pressed for some long periods of time) kills the mouse? I'm thinking maybe that's why my previous one died? I'm confused

All mechanical mouse switches can have the double clicking issue. Considering yours lasted 4 years is a testament to their quality but using the mouse differently wont prolong the lifespan of the switch. You can try to switch to the optical mouse switches, those have a lower report rate of failure so far so those might last you more time. However as FiszPL stated there are tutorials on how to fix the mouse switch and some dont even require soldering. But keep in mind they void any warranty you have and also require you to be somewhat DIY friendly. I have resurrected mice like this before but its bound to happen again so its just a temporary fix.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Well I like soldering and I can probably try to fix my old one, obviously I recently bought a mamba elite as mentioned before. I suppose it was his time to go :-s Also yeah I have no doubt about the razer quality. My Blackwiddow chroma from 2014 is 6 years old and I'm typing from it :D
