Razer Basilik V3 + MAC

Hello.

This is a topic that’s been touched on earlier  as well, but with the Razer synapse for mac out, I’ve been trying to connect my basilisk v3 mouse, but the software seems to not recognize it at all. Have tried the typical debugging, restarting the PC/software, reinstalling the software, reconnecting the mouse

I need to be able to remap my mouse buttons to use this mouse for my work, which is only avaiable via synapse. Anyone have any suggestions? Or should I consider returning this mouse since it seems like I’m not the target audience for this :/

it isnt working with razer synapse 4 on mac for now i think return it or wait and hope they will add it to the razer synpase 4 i have the same mouse and i think they will add it or return it

So, I suppose this is still broken? Same issue, same mouse. I have a PC as well and I was hoping I could just save multiple profiles the mouse directly and switch manually without needing to install Synapse at all. That too doesn’t work as you can only store one profile and if you set the mac profile as default but switch to the PC profile it will save the last profile used to the mouse - making it useless.

  • Why can’t we detect the Basilisk v3 on a mac (no hubs, direct plugin)? I can only imagine how bad Linux support is if we can only have a “beta” for Synapse 4 on Mac.
  • Why can’t we have more than one profile saved to a mouse? Roccat, Logitech, I even bought a cheap $25 dollar amazon mouse “bloody J90s” and that will save multiple profiles directly on the mouse.

This mouse may have to be shipped back to Amazon.

According to the list of supported devices, the Basilisk V3 Pro, Basilisk V3 35k, and Basilisk V3 Pro 35k are supported on Mac version of Synapse 4.   They have added a think three total devices to Synapse 4 for Mac in the past 6 months, among all the mice, keyboards and peripherals.  At this rate, if the device you have is not supported, you may have a very long wait.

Thanks. Mine is the Basilisk v3 (26k), I didn’t realize there was a different list of supported mice between PC and Mac. If thats the case I guess I shouldn’t hold my breath for adding older versions.

Yeah, join the long list of people who didn’t find out until after their purchases that their devices were not supported by Synapse 4.
