Razer basilisk blinking red | Razer Insider

When my controller was connected, and I was playing divinity 2, it started blinking red in a pretty concerning way. Never happened before, wondering if that's an error warning.

Also, recently been having bad double-clicking issues. The mouse's click registration is not linked to the physical click anymore.

Mouse is dying?
Indicating Battery below 5%

Recharge Recharge
It's a wired mouse that has no battery
If anyone shares this issue plox help
Just another information required.

Is the wire a separate attachment to the mouse, or is it part of it?

Okay, best to speak to RAZER support about this.

As my earlier post states, the reason why Basilisk blinks red, is because it is low on battery.

So I thought yours had a broken battery, but it's something else.
It's out of warranty sadly. I tried to click the get supportbut it said that since it's out I can't?

From this site. After I put in the # it just said it's not covered.

RAZER Insider forums is a place where members can have wide discussion from RAZER products to third party products and etc.

But it is difficult to provide an answer if no one has a solution.

When I look up topic on "Basilisk blinking red" on Google, the only info I get is in regards to "Basilisk wireless low on Battery"

That also include Youtube.

When it comes to working in a professional technical troubleshooting environment, the resolver requires information, details~~~

  • S/N of the product?

  • The product number?

  • What other symptoms or errors do you see?

  • When did you notice the issue?

  • What were you using the product on?

Some information might not be safe to reveal in public, which is why it is best to speak to RAZER support directly, in which you have.

The solutions which people share might not be the answer to all, which is why further investigation is required.

If it concludes to internal hardware failure, than you might need to take the mouse to a RAZER mouse electronics specialist

Sometimes the best answer, but the hard one to say is "get a new one".

I'm sure RAZER support will get to you, just needs patience.

Just like waiting in the queue at hospital for a Doctor to come see you.
It happens only in the game? If yes - the game is Chroma enabled, so all your Chroma devices might change their default color (you can disable app chroma integration in Synapse).
Thanks guys,

but it looks like I have no alternate profiles to cause this

And Sye, this is what happpens. I think this means I simply can't use their service? Is that true?

In my years of computing and RAZER products, I only judge by what I see

And yes, I'm afraid to say so

Unless other RAZER insiders can say otherwise
@FiszPL is right, maybe the blinking is related to the game:

I think Razer support should answer your questions although your warranty had expired, but, from my experience, you can't expect much from them.

About the double-clicking issue, it seems like a hardware issue...
I thought this guy was talking about the basilisk ultimate. I have the ultimate version and I was about to respond with the low battery part, but as I continued reading, I sasw that you had one of the wired versions. Sorry to hear about your hardware. Hope you get it fixed!
