Razer Basilisk Quartz malfunctioning

When I turn my computer on, my Razer Basilisk (Quartz ed.) is not connecting. My PC says "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." I tried a different USB outlet, same thing. I plugged in another mouse, that one works fine. Tried the Basilisk in a different computer and get the same malfunctioning error. Apparently, my mouse is no longer under warranty. Anyone know how to fix this or is it just dead? I've already checked for updates via my computer and through Razer..there isn't even a section for just the Basilisk.

Windows Key + S Type " Device Manager " Hover to Mice - and click Drop down arrow Look for your Basilisk Once you find it on the top of Device manager there is View tabs and click on that There are options called "Show Hidden Device" Once you check that option it will showed multiple Basilisk Mice now try to uninstall all Basilisk listed from there unplug ur Basilisk and restart ur PC, once it back just re plug it and let the synapse do the job once its finish do another restart and it should be back to normal if this step still doesnt work try to clean re install Synapse. if u wonder How? here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDFzcljkOsg

thank you, unfortunately, there is no "basilisk" in the drop down section of mice in device manager. My computer just isn't recognizing it at all. It sees my new mouse and my keyboard.

nah, can't use it at all. doesn't even show up - computer tells me it malfunctioned. i did try reinstalling synapse, but no luck. but thank you! it's probably a software issue. i'm just sad cause i love all the quartz stuff but like the feel of basilisk, but they don't make it in pink anymore.

there is another step that I'd like you to try. Before that, have you tried on different USB port / pc ?
