Razer Basilisk V3 2.4ghz Intermittent Connection

Razer Basilisk V3 Pro about 1yr old constantly losing connection second or two while in 2.4ghz mode. The device works fine while wired, but in 2.4ghz it’s randomly spotty and unresponsive while it’s struggling to find connection again. Dongle is 13” from the mouse. I’ve updated the firmware and Synapse as recommended from support but issue still persists.

The little scroll wheel motor doesn’t cycle on/off while it’s happening... it’s just like it’s not registering any movement. Is the optical sensor on the way out? Do dongles just die?

Kinda bummed out that it’s like this about a year in and am currently looking for a replacement from a competing brand.

It’s done it twice in the time it’s taken to write this. Become unreliable for use in any game if in 2.4ghz mode.
