Hello,

I am using the razer Basilisk v3 x hyperspeed and it recently started to not track user input anymore. Instead whenever I connect the mouse, the cursor is slowly moving down. So far I have tried:

  • Restart of PC
  • a different Usb Port
  • a new battery
  • a different Computer
  • different Operating System (MacOS)
  • Reset of the mouse
  • Reinstalling synapse

Since I am running out of options on how to fix it on my own I wanted to ask for some help.

Hi aerodomeSandyTan282,

Thanks for sharing your concern here, and for already trying so many troubleshooting steps. I understand that your Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed no longer tracks your input and that, as soon as it’s connected, the cursor slowly moves down on its own. To investigate this further, please go through the steps in this support article . Kindly take note if the mouse cursor still drifts down on its own when Razer Synapse is completely closed or disabled, and when you test the mouse on a different PC that does not have Razer Synapse installed. If you need further help, feel free to PM me with the device serial number. All the best!
