Is there a fix for this or am I left with the annoyance of having to essentially reset the mouse every time I stop using the mouse?
Also, I ordered it on Amazon and inspected it, after noticing that I had not received the Bluetooth dongle I returned and got a replacement. To which also didn't have a Bluetooth dongle inside so I believed I didn't need it.
Is the dongle required and is this the root of my issue entirely?
If there's no dongle inside the mouse, then return it... someone stole it. Typical Amazon...

For bluetooth problems I'd update drivers for your BT card.

I Returned it but in the replacement there wasn't a dongle either

Would it be easier buying through razer instead of amazon

Agree with this.
Hi all. Same issue and now, my Basilisk X Hyperspeed is not recognized by Bluetooth nor dongle… I’m really disapointed : Only 8 months of use and still KO… I have 2 other Logitech mices, over years of working (3-8 years), used but fully functional !
This mouse is a joke! No amount of firmware updates help.
I have the same issue, it doesn’t connect after going into idle. Not even my cheapest 10$ mouse does this.
And the Bluetooth connection is horrendous! the latency is god awful.. why would you even add a feature that half-works.
I regret buying this trash, this was my first and last time I buy any Razer branded device.
