My mouse DA V2 X Hyperspeed Wireless is suddenly stopped responding and the synapse is detecting the mouse and the dongle but it shows a power off logo next to my mouse and it says needs to be turned on by 2.4 GHZ but it doesnt detects. It was working fine a day before this happened and the power off logo says - Device is in sleep mode, switched off, or needs to be connected by 2.4 GHZ. and the same for when try to connect it through BT. the mouse is not waking up neither there is any light blinking or showing up on the mouse.

I tried reinstalling synapse, removing all the mouse drivers from the Device Manager, tried restarting, new batteries. 
 


Please help.

Hi KuzubeaSt,

I understand your Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed suddenly stopped responding and is showing as powered off in Synapse even though the dongle is detected, and that there’s no light or response from the mouse at all. Just to check a few things:

  • Is the power switch on the underside of the mouse set to 2.4 GHz or BT (and not in the middle/off position)?
  • Have you tried using a different brand or set of batteries, and are they inserted in the correct orientation?
  • When you flip the power switch between OFF / 2.4 GHz / BT, do you feel any click or see even a brief blink of light?

To isolate the problem, please the steps below:

  1. Remove the battery from the mouse.
  2. Leave the mouse without a battery for about 1–2 minutes.
  3. Reinsert a fresh battery, making sure the polarity is correct.
  4. Set the power switch to 2.4 GHz and have the dongle connected directly to a USB port on your PC (no hub or extension if possible).
  5. Open Razer Synapse and see if the mouse wakes up or shows as active.

If the mouse is still completely unresponsive no LEDs, no cursor movement, still shows as powered off in Razer Synapse, please send me a PM along with the device serial number, region and proof of purchase for warranty validation. All the best!
