Razer Deathadder Chroma middle mouse button replacement | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I've had this mouse for many years and it has been well used over that time. I have worn out and replaced all three of the switches for the left, right, and middle buttons. When I replaced the left and right buttons, I was able to find high quality replacements - they feel great and are still going strong. But when the middle button died, I couldn't find a good replacement. It is a different form factor than the other two. It is a 6x6mm 2-pin switch. What I ended up installing had too high resistance (about 80 gf measured directly at the switch) and it didn't last very long. I'd like to replace it with a better switch this time around. Does anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement?

Thanks

Razer is not selling switches for mice and keyboards. The team only replaces these devices when they are faulty. I'll be moving your post to another board to get input from the community.

Check for Kailh Silent Square switch (or Kailh Mute - it sometimes have different naming: https://www.kailhswitch.com/micro-switches/mouse-micro-switches/mute-mini-2-pin-silent-micro-switch-for-mouse.html). Really good quality one, and really silent (if it's a con for you) - it also comes with different height - so before you'll buy a replacement, you should measure your old one (probably it should be 6 x 6 x 7.3mm, but I'm not 100% sure).

This one should fit too: https://www.kailhswitch.com/micro-switches/mouse-micro-switches/miniature-12v-micro-switch.html and it's non-silent version if you want, but they didn't provided any measures.

All these you can find on eBay or Aliexpress.
