Razer Deathadder Essential keeps disconnecting itself.

Hello, I've had a Razer Deathadder for the last 10 years without having any problems with it. Last summer I decided to change it with the new Deathadder Essential for no other reason but because it became too old and overused (the scroll started squeeking, the buttons became harder to click, etc.) So now, not even a full year into having this new Deathadder, today it started disconnecting itself randomly. It works for up to 5 minutes max and then turns off on its own. If I unplug it from the USB and plug it back in, it works again for about 5 minutes and disconnects again. I've looked through all the possible causes for this on Google. I have reinstalled everything that can be reinstalled and updated anything that could be updated. I tried all my USB ports, it does the same in each one of them. I tried other PCs and laptops, it does the same. I am currently out of options. Can someone please give me advice on what to do and how to fix this problem ?

As you found, it does the same on other PCs / laptops - I'd assume, that mouse cable is broken.

Thank you for your answer, I assumed it was a cable problem, too. But then yesterday I tested it on my brother's laptop and it worked all day long without disconnecting at all. However, it disconnects on 3 other devices - my PC, my laptop and my wife's laptop. Until I tried it on my brother's laptop I was convinced its a cable malfunction but now I am even more confused. Do you have any ideas what might be the reason for such an issue ?

Many things are comming to my mind - faulty USB port, problem with power on USB port etc. One more thing - you can download some linux distro (Ubuntu or Linux Mint for eg.), put it on USB stick and boot it from pendrive on "faulty" PC or laptop, and check if this disconnecting thing is not a software problem.

I will try that, thank you.
