Razer Deathadder V2 Pro Issues

Hello,

 

I have recently run into an issue with my Razer Deathadder V2 Pro. There are a couple of problems with the device:

  1. The device is not recognized under device manager while using a wired connection with the original cable.
  2. The device is not recognized under razer synapse 3 or razer synapse 4 while using a wired connection with the original cable.
  3. The device does not function with the 2.4 dongle.

Originally, the 2.4 dongle for my device did work. Once I updated the firmware for the dongle, the device stopped working as well. Here is a list of what does work:

  • The device lights up with a wired connection with the original cable to multiple usb ports
  • The device lights up with the 2.4 dongle option on (with or without the dongle plugged in)
  • The device works properly and connects with bluetooth

For those not wanting to read those support articles, here are the actions that I have taken to fix my device:

  • Ensured Razer Synapse 4 is not running in compatibility mode
  • Performed a repair on Razer Synapse 4
  • Restarted my PC
  • Shut down my PC
  • Connected the device using a wired connection with the original cable to the motherboard usb connections.
  • Attempted to pair my device with my dongle via the pairing utility
  • Upgraded Razer Synapse 3 to Razer Synapse 4
  • Updated my drivers
  • Updated my windows
  • Uninstalled and Reinstalled Riot Vanguard
  • Removed dirt from under the mouse
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled Razer Synapse 4
  • Exited all razer apps processes
  • Uninstalled the Razer Deathadder v2 Pro driver in device manager
  • Checked for a new device in device manager after unplugging and replugging usb and scanned for hardware changes
  • Tried a wired connection with the original cable to a laptop
  • Tried a wireless connection with the 2.4 dongle to both the pc and laptop
