Razer Mamba TE doesn't work on firefly v2?

JUST got it, sat down, and put my workmouse on it- works great! It's a dingy old thing, probably around 10 bucks. Putting my Razer Mamba TE on it? sometimes it goes fast, sometimes it goes slow. sometimes it doesn't move at all. What am I doing wrong? Currently just setting my old mousepad ontop for now :/

It should work well. The Mamba TE has laser sensor, with z-axis "bug", but the tracking should be OK on this pad. Clean the sensor lens with some q-tip. You can also calibrate surface through Synapse software.

I found that my Mamba TE worked well on my Firefly V1 hard edition after I calibrated it in Synapse 3. The TE sensor does have a few flaws as posted by user above me however.

I own one of them too and it came in a spiffy tin box :) But yes majority of the Mamba iterations have their flaws unfortunately so I dont recommend any of them except the one I posted the link to above. Good luck finding one for sale at a cheap price tho, most are being sold for $150 n up on most reseller sites such as eBay and Amazon.

Yes but it doesnt have a lot of issues like most iterations do

Never had that issue with my Mamba Chroma Wireless and used it on FPS games mostly

Is this Thread still up to date? I bought myself a Firefly V2 on Primeday from Amazon and it arrived today. I plugged it in and all and wanted to use my Mamba TE on it but its just so bad and doesnt really work. I got the Firefly V1 and it works just fine as well as a Razer Scarab but I use it on the go for my laptop and the firefly v1 is a lil bit worn after all these years. Is there a fix or is the firefly v2 just not good for the mamba TE?
