Razer Mamba Wireless Dongle Question

Should i put the wireless dongle of my mouse in the USB 3 port or it would work the same way in a USB 2 port? I generally dont use the 2 and when i connect other diveces that can use the speed of type 3 i rather not need to swap out the dongle so i am wondering.

    Thats exactly what i wanted to know. I think when i was researching i red that the mouse dongle is for USB 2.1 anyway but i couldnt find that page again or remember where i red it. thank you for clarification
