Razer Viper lighting after closing Synapsis 3

My Razer Viper does not retain my lighting setting after i close Synapsis 3. However, it only remembers if turn off the lighting completly. Is there a way to set a color and not having Synapsis running in the background all the time? Or is this a limitation by the Viper itself? With my DeathAdder Chroma and Synapsis 2 it works just fine that way...
