Razer Viper Mini not connecting

Hi Everyone,

I need a fix for my Razer Viper Mini which I bought an year ago which was working all good but suddenly 2/3 days ago started connecting and disconnecting by itself and now It is not working at all nor showing up in device manager. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling device driver, Razer Synapse. Also unplugging and re-plugging it in PC and restarting and stuff. Nothing is working for me.

Please let me know on anything useful on this issue

Tried other PC?

Also you might try to bend a cable in few places to check if it’s the cable issue (at least it should connect for a while when it’s bent near the damaged place).

Hi ​@FiszPL, do you have any other tips as well. Anything is helpful at this point.

I have tried in another laptop it is working fine.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing the Synapse 4 software which is compatible with Razer Viper Mini but the issue persists.
I also tried restarting the system on multiple occasions.
I also tried updating Windows software through Windows Update Software.
I also tried updating my NVIDIA GPU software.

After reinstalling GPU Driver, Vanguard, System Driver, Synapse, it worked for a brief period of 1-2second but it got disconnected automatically by itself.

After all this, it seems the issue persists.

I’d boot up a live usb Ubuntu or Linux Mint for example on the faulty PC to check if it’s some software issue (or OS related) on the “faulty” PC, or is it something else.

I tried it on an another laptop with windows 10 and yet another laptop with chrome OS. It seems it is a software issue but not sure how to rectify it

I created a ticket in Razer, they are asking me to check with Amazon as I brought the device from there. Shifting the blame as my warranty is soon about to expire. I will never switch back to razer products ever first and last purchase ever and will recommend the same to my fellow gamer friends and community, especially their customer support, top notch (sarcasm)

Please try the same laptop and live usb Ubuntu / Linux mint, so you’ll have your answer is this a software issue on laptop or some hw thing with the USB ports maybe?

I have the same problem, but it still works. The problem is that every day it automatically shuts down and comes back on after 30 to 40 seconds. Today it shuts down and won't come back on at all until I remove the USB cable and reinstall it.
Please help me💔💔💔😢
