Razer Viper Ultimate Dongle Recognized as Viper V2 Pro Dongle

I have a Viper Ultimate Mercury that I received without a wireless dongle. Luckily, I was able to find another Viper Ultimate dongle (Normal black color, don't think that matters) but ran into an issue as I was trying to pair the Viper to this new dongle. On the pairing software, the dongle could not be recognized as belonging to a Viper Ultimate and the pairing software would just ask me to connect a compatible dongle to continue. But the really weird part is that the dongle was recognized in a different pairing software, but as a Viper V2 Pro dongle in every pairing software compatible with that mouse. I wanted to make sure that this wasn't just my computer and sure enough, when I plugged in my dongle at my work computer, “Viper V2 Pro” popped up as the device name. I have been searching for ways to factory reset the wireless dongle or some alternative way to pair it. Razer doesn’t sell replacements on their website anymore and the cheapest I can find it online is $20 and I’m nervous I would pay that just to experience the same issue again. I can’t seem to find anything online where someone else had their dongle recognized but just as the incorrect device. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm currently facing the same but with a Deathstalker V2 Pro. I was able to get a DeathAdder V2 Pro dongle, but the USB HyperSpeed Dongle Utility forces me to try and pair the DeathAdder (that I don't have).

The software page (link below) states on step 5 that I should be able to select which device I want to pair, but instead it skips me directly to step 7.

Logitech's Unifying  utility allows users to simply check all previously paired devices and remove then while freely pairing new compatible ones. I can picture Razer's HyperSpeed having some sort of physical limitation to pairing, but having Synpase being able to unpair and repair a second device at will makes me think why make so that you can't do the same for the primary one.

To clarify, the reason why I got a second dongle was that my original one came factory defect, and the store didn't have a DeathStalker replacement one.
