Razer Viper V2 Pro and Dongle Pairing Issues

A few weeks back I my dongle started acting up, it started disconnecting from time to time until one day it suddenly lost all connection and can no longer be detected by any razer software. Since my mouse is out of warranty (bought it back when it first came out, i think) I bought a knock off dongle replacement.

Now here is where the problem starts, the razer pairing software recognizes both device but is asking for the original mouse cable to pair it. I mean a bought a wireless mouse for a reason so I no longer have it. Is there anyway to pair the mouse and the new dongle?
