Razer Viper V2 Pro dongle not working

Today the Viper V2 Pro USB dongle stopped working, is not detected at all, I trying on 2 different PC, I saw that many people had the same problem.

What I have to do? I bought this mouse from eBay on 30 June 2023

Unfortunately not much you can do about this seeing as the Viper V2 Pro is pretty much no longer produced once the Viper V3 Pro came out… I would just go buy a DeathAdder V3 Pro and call it a day, DeathAdder V3 Pro is really reliable too and is lightweight just like the Viper V2 Pro was and is a bit more ergonomic for your hand to reduce stress points

This seems like a joke to me, why would I spend another £160?
I have a mouse less than 2 years old that apparently has a well known manufacturing defect, and many users have had this problem with the dongle, and the only solution is to buy the new model?

And I can't even buy a new dongle because it's out of production.

 

Why should I trust Razer again?

Viper V2 Pro dongle was notoriously problematic, I cannot say if the Viper V3 Pro dongle has the same problem (but lets hope not!). I havent had any problems with the DeathAdder dongles so those seem to be a safe bet.

 

But that is your choice if you want another Razer mouse or not, theres other competitors out there if you don’t trust Razer anymore 😉
