Shift/Control/Alt + Key bind

Hello, I am using Razer Trinity and it feels great. However, when using a key bind, I cannot press the shift/control/alt + that key bind do function as the keyboard.

For instance, I am playing World of Warcraft, there are many button functions. I have a spell key bind at "1" and another at "Shift+1" etc with multiple spells using any combinations of shift/control/alt + key bind. When I press shift+key bind button, it'll only register as just the keybind without reading shift. Is there a way I can turn on the function to be able to read shift/control/alt or am I just stuck on having just 7 key binds (since the circle buttons feels the best I like to use that)?

If this is not possible, could you just add "mouse button (6-12)"?

Have you tried setting that combination not as a keybind, but as a macro?

And I think the only way to be able to have multiple on the one machine is to use the hypershift functionality.

**Read the original post a couple more times**

It's strange that holding down your actual shift key on your keyboard and then pressing your keybind for "1" would only register as the 1 being pressed, and not as both. I'm going to do some experimenting with this to see if I can replicate that issue - mind you, I'm on a different Naga, so my results might not compare to yours in ANY way at all.

**After trying it a bunch of different ways**

Yeah, that's what happens with me and my Naga Epic Chroma. I'll keep trying to find a way to make that happen without putting in a feature request.

By the way, the mouse button (6-12) option is NOT an option, because the Windows operating system doesn't have provisions for anything greater than mouse button 5 and would not know what to do with those other button commands (this from a Razer official in a recent thread).
PT.Singer,

Did you found a solution?

Not yet. It seems that every time I press any of the buttons on my mouse, my system only accepts that keybind, and no other modifiers.

The only thing that I haven't tried is to put the modifier also on my mouse (one of the buttons under the scroll wheel, or even the tilt-click) and have the numbers coming from my side buttons. I know for a fact that I can have Shift as one of my side buttons, and holding down that while pressing the left mouse button gives me an effective Shift+Click, but I'm not sure about other keyboard functions.

I'll give that a try in a little bit and let you know.

**Some time later ...**

Yo, @Chaosmite , here's what I found.

Pressing the key on my keyboard didn't modify my side keys on my Naga Epic Chroma at all ...

... but when I mapped the modifier keys to other Naga buttons, they worked as modifiers for the side keys! It was the only way I could get those side keys working with a modifier.

Hopefully it won't affect your play style too much in WoW, especially since you're still working things out with your mouse, but at least there is a way to make it happen.

Give it a try - let us know how you go!
I thought about doing that also. Too bad that the PC is recognizing the mouse as it's own keyboard instead of a macro button. Thanks for your help!
I found a solution! I downloaded an app called Karabiner and it allowed me to map those buttons mouse button 6+ and WoW recognized them as such! Hope that this help everyone!

Incase Microsoft doesn't allow it, I have a Mac, if that makes a difference. Hopefully this works on Microsoft as well.

Interesting! I'll have to open up Windows on Bootcamp sometime and try it out there.

By the way, did you find that Karabiner conflicted in any way with any other customization you have done in Synapse, or do they work side-by-side with no issues?
PT.Singer,

Sorry for the late response. I found no issues with the button mapping since I only use the mouse when I game. However, I do believe Karabiner overwrites the buttons since you are selecting individual buttons to change.
If mouse buttons 6-20 (because it had up to 20 if I remember correctly) does indeed work even on Windows, maybe we could get Razer to have that built it also?
