I have strange sound while scrolling up, it sounds creaky, physical process of scrolling up is not smooth as scrolling down. Scrolling down is good. I replaced recently with another one(this video is new mouse), still same sound. Is it defective or good?

Out of curiosity before that did you ever attempt to side click on the scroll wheel?

Responding late, but I have the same issue here and the mouse is brand new. The side click on the middle mouse wheel thing is honestly weird as it clicks one way and not the other. Same thing with my death adder v2 that kind of does the same sound/thing but to a far lesser degree. only replaced it because the left click started irritating the heck out of me because it felt like it was sticking and after taking it apart 3 different times to clean it, and it showing right back up as a problem about a month later, i ended up just buying a new one.

My mamba i had before this had the side clicks so I still occasionally do it out of habit, especially since if you push the scroll wheel to the right, it'll click still. Think that's just a design flaw though where they didn't secure the wheel or design it properly.

Honestly the whole mouse kind of feels cheap and plasticy with the V2 feeling a bit better quality wise apart from the actual clicks feeling more springy and cheap, especially with the sticking issue. Though, the v3 still feels very low quality still with the side buttons being rattly, the middle mouse wheel being like creaky, and even the clickers kind of just feeling loose in a way. My gf has a Basilisk V3 and it feels phenomenal quality wise compared to both the v2 and v3, but its not comfortable with my big hands. just sucks when you spend almost 100 bucks on a mouse and its just not designed super well or they skimp out on quality because it needs to weigh like nothing and on top of that, i don't even use mice wirelessly because i don't want to deal with the battery.
