USB Receiver on charging dock not working?

HELP!!! The usb receiver (used for wireless range extension) on my charging dock for the Razer Viper Ultimate doesn't work. It's not registering the USB when it's plugged into it at all. Is there a way to fix this or is the charging dock just faulty?

Try updating the Viper Ultimate's firmware as that might be out of date

  • Fixed an issue where macros will not function when on wired mode
  • Fixed an issue where the keyboard macro will repeat when moving the mouse in wired mode
  • Fixed an issue where there is no response when a button is set to double click in Synapse and on 2.4GHz mode

That is just a summary of fixes in latest firmware, just note that other fixes may be contained within that are undocumented (this is usually the case)

Check if cable is properly connected (all way in to the charging dock). If not, pull out wireless dongle, and connect it to USB port directly on your motherboard (be sure it's USB 3.0 or above).
