Viper 8Khz gets disconnected when lifted up / Windows fails to recognize mouse

So i have the Viper for about a month now and this very strange problem. Windows fails to recognise the Viper 8Khz when i lift it up.

What happens is this: as soon as i lift the mouse, windows disconnects and reconnects the mouse several times in a row until a windows error message comes, saying that windows failed to recognize the usb device.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the mouse drivers AND synapse 3 a dozen times now. I have a Windows 10 64 bit system.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.
So, after looking online for possible solutions i stumbled upon something. For whatever reason the windows device manager doesnt list the razer mouse under "mice and other pointing devices" but under "human interface devices" (and for some whole other reason is got two Razer Viper in that list). So i always updated the wrong drivers. The pictures show how i updated the drivers and it worked for me. I did this for both mice and i got a message to reboot windows for the update to take effect.

Hope this helps anyone.

So guys, kinda bad news / good news situation here. bad news is, after 10 days or so the same problem occured again and this time a reinstall wouldnt fix it. the good news is, i'm gonna return this razer piece of trash and gonna get me some quality product. YEAH!:smile_:

Welp all I can say is sayonara bro, besides the 8KHz refresh rate on that specific Viper model is a bit overkill, wouldnt you think?! I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to at least try out the Viper Ultimate or the Viper V2 Pro first... good mice there, nothing wrong with these ones mostly.

I heard that the Viper Ultimate is on sale right now and it comes WITH the nice charging dock at that and there is really isnt anything/nothing that should be stopping you from trying the Viper Ultimate at this point at the very least!
