Viper 8KHz Scroll Click Issue

I purchased the Viper 8KHz looking for a fast, precise mouse for gaming and 3D CAD, and to suit a fingertip grip. And it has exceeded all my expectations - it's a joy to use and I find the ergonomics just perfect. Unfortunately there seems to be one fatal flaw - the scroll click only registers when I press very hard. I use the scroll click to pan around 3D models so this issue makes the mouse nearly unusable. I've tried the suggestions of trying to clean any dust that may have gotten in with compressed air, but it hasn't worked. It was like this out of the box. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar experienced?

    Dead scroll button. I had the same with my Viper Mini. RMA your mouse, you'll get new one.

    One year ago I bought the same mouse and I had the same issue, I got a replacement and it had the same issue but that appeared after 30days of usage, and scrollclick usage is light. Now after one year of using the bugged one scroll click still broken "do not reg" and both RMB and LMB are broken from the inside aka flying.

    Dead scroll button. I had the same with my Viper Mini. RMA your mouse, you'll get new one.
    Thank you for your advice, I'll go with RMA - disappointing given how well made the old Razer mice are.

    Hmm That is a worry, I will try to get a replacement and see how it goes...

    You should do it and maybe ask for a latest batch maybe these issues been fixed in newer batches.
