I've had this mouse for 6 months and it's getting worse that when I am scrolling down through a page, the page will go up a few lines before still going downwards and I know that this has messed with me in games as well, such as scrolling through weapons. Would this be a hardware defect or does the mouse need to be opened up and then clean out the scroll sensor? Does it wired and wireless; does it with and without Synapse. Compressed air has done nothing to solve the problem (while it's still screwed together). Also, keep in mind that this is my second Viper Ultimate in two years. I can provide a video if need be. Thoughts?

You can try cleaning, but it requires disassembly, and you'll loose warranty (if you still have one), but I doubt it'll help, because RVU is using mechanical scroll encoder (optical encoders are more prone to errors when dust is getting inside).
